Mohit Gupta, holds nearly 11 years of experience in the domains of Marketing, Corporate Strategy, Brand Management and Training & Content Development. He has worked in multinationals like Religare, Standard Chartered Bank, Max Life and Tata AIA(erstwhile TATA-AIG). In his last assignment with Religare he was a part of Religare’s SME Finance business where he as Vice President handled multiple portfolios in building up the organization’s $ 2 Bn plus balance sheet. It was during an assignment that Mohit also curated a book for SMEs in India ‘Mantras to WIN: A Guidebook for Family Managed Businesses’. The book was an interesting lateral tool to interact and listen to various SMEs based out of various clusters in the country. Many such brand, communications and marketing strategies related to channel management, employee development, fund raising road shows and strategic alliances were executed by him.
His core is simplifying the communication and thus building customized training and delivery solutions. He has done assignments on various business domains for companies like Indus towers, Religare, Max Life, Tata AIA, SREI Group, StarAgri, Indiamart, Tolexo, Neogrowth, Igniteworld and many other such leading corporates.
Also a professional photographer Mohit, brings in a unique mix of left and right brain thinking. He specializes in curation of photowalls for exhibitions and in the past has done many solo and group photography shows at reputed galleries including India Habitat Centre in Delhi. He also contributes to social causes with a unique engagement program ‘Pose for a Cause’ in which corporate employees donate funds for social causes by getting their professionally clicked pictures. In his latest photography and design assignments he worked with National Institute of Solar Energy, an autonomous institute under Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. Mohit is associated with many NGOs and social change makers in the field of environment, natural resources and children. He was invited by Centre for Energy Education in New Delhi in Feb-2014 for a UNDP summit to present his views on ‘A Giving Hobby’ to the school heads of major schools of Delhi-NCR. His session on ‘Connecting Dots between Energy, Environment & Indian Independence’ depicts his in-depth knowledge in the field of history of world & energy and related economics.
A passionate public speaker, a voracious reader and climate change activist, he is a chemical engineer from Kanpur university and an alumni of IIFT, New Delhi. He is also pursuing Renewable Energy studies from TERI University Delhi.
Presently apart from his corporate consulting assignments, Mohit is in the process of authoring a book on small & cheerful moments of life and has been crowd sourcing various art forms from various artists to contribute towards this project. He has also founded a very unique crowdsourcing e-venture related to home cooked food which at this point of time is in the start-up phase for which he aims to raise it to a considerable size in couple of months.
